With an international network of offices, HLW needed to find a reliable data backup and recovery solution that they could implement easily and quickly throughout their organization. It also had to back up and protect their considerably large MS Exchange database, which consisted of approximately 300 GB of uncompressed data.
HLW chose Storage Guardian for its user-friendly interface, its feature-rich functionality and its ability to effectively handle the company’s MS Exchange environment. However, HLW was particularly impressed with Storage Guardian’s data restoration feature, the Local Restore feature, which not only continues to back up HLW’s Exchange database to a remote offsite vault, but also locally to their network - so that certain critical restores can be executed at LAN speeds. And with software’s agentless architecture, the entire installation process took less than an hour across the entire network.
